Fellow Otter Fest Houston Bears Party Barge Participant,

We received a message from the captain of the barge stating that he saw that we were planning on going to Hippy Hollow tomorrow and stated that due to the low water levels, it is not a straight shot to Hippy Hollow and it would take 1.5 hours to get to Hippy Hollow and 1.5 hours to get back to Marina leaving only 30 mins at Hippy Hollow since the boat trip is only 4 hours long.

We have changed the trip to a 6-hour trip so we can spend 3 hours at Hippy Hollow. 

THE NEW BOAT TRIP WILL BE FROM 9AM to 3PM SO EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE ON THE DOCK AT THE MARINA BY 8:30AM.

This of course will cost additional funds but since this is out of your control, we don’t expect you to help us pay the difference.  If you would like to make a $10 to $20 donation to the Houston Bears, we would greatly appreciate it.  Will can accept cash and will bring a QR code to make the donation.
