As a group, the Houston Bears selects charities to directly fund every year.

As an all volunteer organization, we primarily do this through fundraising events. Whether its one of our large annual events or our monthly meetups, those fundraising efforts go toward what we all can give to these worthy organizations.

With that being said, we also accept donations in order to further our mission. Some of the ways you can help are:

• Sponsor an event! As an example, our Jello Shot events generally cost about $150 for supplies. Consider funding one of these events to help us generate even more for our charities.
• Volunteer for an event! We are always looking for help and we would love to have you there!
• Host an event! Contact our Event Director to see what kind of magic we can make together!
• Investigate if your workplace matches donations. Many employers have teamed up with companies like Benevity, CyberGrants, Deed, DonationMatch, Network for Good and others to match charitable donations. Some of these may even include corporate donations for time you volunteer with the Bears.
