The Houston Bears is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a social affinity group for queer individuals who identity as bears and our allies. As an organization we host fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for LGBTQ+ organizations that serve our queer community.

In every action we undertake, we strive to fulfill the core values of Community Service, Fellowship, Fun, and Lasting Friendships. These values are part of our mission statement and each helps us give back to our community. They’re meant to inspire us, make us want to do better, and to foster in others the sense of incusivity and togetherness we all want and need. We are proud to make our world a better place where we can all be celebrated.
